April 16, 2024-April 22, 2024-Week 50-David

This week was another excellent week to be a missionary! Hermana Rhodes and I get along really well, and it will be so sad when we have to get separated at the end of this transfer. We are always laughing in the streets and plotting fun things to do together at BYU afterwards.

This transfer, we are doing more stuff together as a whole zone. So, we all met up on Thursday for a council in David and ate pizza afterwards and had a piƱata...don't ask me why? Then I did an exchange with Hermana Bennett! It was good to get to know her and the power kept going of and on throughout the night. We have been able to continue teaching a lot of good people and contact the world and just do our part, because that's what the Lord has asked us to do.

After so much time of no rain (practically 5 months) it finally rained!!! It was dumping buckets and buckets and we were soaked through and through. It will be a little different to have rain again after so much time without it, but it will be nice to not be so sweaty.

I have been studying a lot about not doubting and walking in our faith. I read a really good BYU speech by Kevin Worthen called "Fear not". We have nothing to fear! And to conquer our fears and doubts, we must have FAITH! We must maintain the hope, or confidence, that God will do His part and act in our faith to keep our part of our covenants.

I know this is Christ's true church and that this the work of the Lord!!

For p-day, we went to a waterfall with 4 elders in our zone. It was fun to finally do something on p-day.
